In October 95 a working group was setup to study the requirements of the
LHC detectors for gas systems. The aim is to develop scalable standard
designs so far as possible and to bring forward proved and costed designs.

Standards and information gathered by the GWG
The GWG's mandate is to standardize gas systems and therefore tools, equipment,
computers, software etc. needed to achieve this goals. In a dedicated section,
